COVID 19 – Golfer Procedures and Information Update


We are taking a phased-in approach to golf for 2020 to ensure we are operating to the safest possible level. Please note that you must have a tee time booked or meeting scheduled in order to be granted access to the property.

BOOKING

  • Tee times are to be booked via phone through the golf shop 905-852-6212, or online at https://mill-run.book.teeitup.com/. No walk-on times allowed.
  • Golf Shop hours are 7am-8pm.
  • Bookings are seven days in advance for members and five days in advance for public.
  • 12 minute tee time intervals (Championship Course), 15 minute tee time intervals (Highland Course).
  • Power Carts and Member purchases are on account or with virtual money (10% auto gratuity added for Food & Beverage purchases).
  • Foursomes are permitted; any single or twosome will be paired with fellow members.
  • Any golfers booking together may be required to share a power cart with a divider in place.
  • Only one tee time may be booked at a time.
  • All names of members must be given at the time of booking, along with riding/walking status.
  • All public rounds must be paid for at the time of booking, either online through a 3rd party, or over the phone with a credit card. 

ARRIVING

  • There will be a member and guest screening questionnaire at the front gate.
  • You will not be allowed access until 30 minutes before your tee time.
  • Please park in every other space when possible.
  • For those taking a cart, it must be booked with your tee time and the power cart will not be allowed into the parking lot before your round. Please use the bag drop area.
  • The clubhouse is closed for dining, but the locker room washrooms are open.
  • Driving Range is open to members and their guests only. 
  • Players booked together (twosomes) will be given a cart with a divider, unless they live in the same household, single players and those that did not book together will remain in their own cart.
  • Patio service is available with walk-up reservations. 
  • Take-out food is available before and after your round in the restaurant.


PLAYING

  • You must maintain a physical distance of 2 metres between players or staff
  • You are responsible for bringing your own personal protective equipment if you choose to wear it (masks, sanitizer, gloves). The club will have general sanitizing stations.
  • All on course washrooms are open for use. The Highland clubhouse is closed, but there are two portable washrooms to use before/after golf.
  • Playing through another group is not permitted. The course must be played in order (1,2,3…)
  • Practice green will be open with no holes cut.
  • When putting on course, we suggest the 1st player putt out and finish the hole before the next player putts.
  • Tee blocks and flags are out and NOT to be touched. No other seasonal on course items are out including; benches, ball washers, directional signage, or rakes.
  • All bunkers will be played as preferred lies. Please place it in a new lie if needed and smooth the surface with your feet after your shot.
  • Rental clubs and demos are NOT available for rent.
  • There are no sand and seed bottles. Please replace your divots.
  • You must exit immediately after your round unless you plan to stay and use our patios or lounge areas. Please do not hang out in the parking lot after your round.
  • Please post your score at home using www.GolfCanada.ca or the Golf Canada app.

 
RULES/STAFF INTERACTION

  • Do not approach STAFF AT ANY TIME! Physical distancing is required at all times while on property.
  • Any member not abiding by the rules and new COVID – 19 protocols will be asked to leave along with their group, no exceptions.
  • Infractions of these and other club policies could be subject to suspension with possible referral to the Discipline Committee and/or Board depending on the severity of the infraction.
  • No loitering or congregating is permitted at any time.
  • Mill Run has the right to change rules without notice depending on the progress of the viral pandemic.
